Minama Legal

Community Guidelines

Our shared rules for keeping Minama welcoming, trustworthy, and student-first.

Last updated: November 28, 2025

Be Authentic and Honest

Use your real identity, keep your profile accurate, and verify your university email. Describe items honestly, set fair prices, and be upfront about wear, damage, or limitations. Misrepresentation undermines the trust that makes Minama work.

Respectful Communication

  • Stay courteous and patient, even when resolving issues or negotiating prices.
  • No harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech. Zero tolerance for threats or intimidation.
  • Keep conversations relevant to the transaction and avoid spamming multiple users with the same message.

Quality Listings

Upload clear photos, choose accurate categories, and avoid keyword stuffing or misleading tags. Do not post illegal, dangerous, or prohibited items. Duplicate listings or attempts to artificially boost visibility may be removed.

Reliability and Follow-Through

Show up on time, respond promptly, and communicate if plans change. If you agree to a price or pickup time, honor it. Repeated no-shows, cancellations without notice, or attempts to move transactions off-platform can result in account restrictions.

Reporting and Enforcement

Report concerns to support@minama.jp with as much detail as possible. We review reports, may remove content or accounts, and will share information with campus security or law enforcement when required. Serious or repeated violations can lead to suspension or permanent removal.
