Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live), be a current university student, and maintain a verified university email to use Minama. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

• Only list items or services you have the right to sell, and describe them accurately with honest pricing.
• Keep communications respectful and on-platform so we can help resolve issues and keep everyone safe.
• No prohibited items (counterfeits, weapons, illicit substances, stolen goods, or anything banned by law).
• Meet in safe, public locations when exchanging items and follow our safety guidelines.
• Use Minama solely for peer-to-peer, non-commercial student transactions unless we approve otherwise.

Payments may be processed by third-party providers subject to their own terms. You agree to pay all applicable charges and taxes. If a dispute arises, contact the other party first and then support@minama.jp with order details. We may review messages and transaction data to help resolve disputes or suspected fraud.

You retain ownership of your content but grant Minama a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the marketplace. Do not post content that infringes intellectual property, violates privacy, or breaks the law.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Minama platform, including the website, apps, code, designs, logos, text, and other materials we provide, are owned by or licensed to Minama and are protected by intellectual property and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, host, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of Minama except as expressly permitted in these terms or with our prior written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our community guidelines, or applicable law. Serious safety risks, fraud, harassment, or attempts to bypass verification may result in immediate removal of listings and account access.

Minama provides the platform “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the marketplace. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update these terms to reflect product changes or legal requirements. When we make significant updates we will post the revised version here and, when appropriate, notify you by email or in-app message. Continued use after changes go into effect means you accept the updated terms.
